How Do I Get With Amilf

In and of whether the Opal is an unusual stone that here in Italy is short sale, search, and still bought it and like getting a few of the very few people know this variety of opal.
The fire opal.
Opal is an amorphous mineral (hydrated silica: SiO2 · nH2O), vary in color from transparent to milky white, with a infinity of different intermediates (green, red, yellow, brown black). The water content of up to 20%. The training is done by slow geological opal a colloidal silica gel at low temperatures.

It includes many varieties including the common opal, opal noble, opal, black opal of water, fire opal, opal coal and the ialite.
The word opal is rooted in common Upala Sanskrit, Greek and Latin opallios opalus (with the meaning of precious stones). The largest deposits are in Mexico, Wales and Australia.
The opalescence, the play of color and light presented by the opal samples, is due to interference effects and the diffraction of light caused in turn by the regular arrangement of silica spheres which are arranged in a packaged form, regular and three-dimensional, is similar to the disposition of the crystals. A
heating of samples of opal can cause dehydration and, therefore, the loss of the effect of opalescence. A partial rehydration of the samples obtained by prolonged immersion in water damaged.

The stones shown here are available in my workshop for those who want to admire them, for those who need information, write to elenaclaudio@tin.it
